Please note: Presenters must register on-line by Friday 24th May 2018 , or the conference committee will be unable to include their papers in the final programme. Non-presenting delegates should register by 17th June 2018. Accommodation must be booked separately. Registration fees: Please select EITHER the appropriate Full Conference Registration rate, OR the individual days on which you wish to attend.
Full conference fees include all refreshments, lunch on Wednesday 3, Thursday 4 and Friday 5th July, rum punch reception, buffet dinner on Wednesday 3 July and formal conference dinner on Thursday 4 July. 220 pounds
Concessionary rates are available for postgraduate students and those with low or insecure wages. If in doubt, contact the organisers.
A limited number of bursaries are available to postgraduate students and scholars based in the Caribbean who are presenting papers at the conference. If you have been awarded a bursary, you will have received an email notifying you of this and this option will be available from the list below. If it is not available, you have not been granted a bursary.

WEDS 3 JULY: Includes refreshments and buffet dinner 80 pounds
THURS 4 JULY: Includes lunch and refreshments, but EXCLUDES CONFERENCE DINNER which should be booked separately if you wish to attend. 90 pounds
FRIDAY 5 JULY: Includes lunch and refreshments. 60 pounds
Day delegates wishing to attend the conference dinner on Thursday 4th July should add the additional ticket price to their fee.
Membership of the Society is mandatory for conference attendance and should be added to the conference fee. Members receive the Society newsletter, announcements of upcoming events through our email list and eligibility for Society prizes and awards.

Bridget Jones Award Optional Donation: We ask conference participants to consider making a donation towards the costs of the Bridget Jones Award. The Award enables an artist from the Caribbean to travel to the conference in order to present their work, and is an important but expensive part of the conference. For more information, please see the main SCS website. If you would like to contribute a donation towards the costs of offering the Award in future years, please insert the amount here. (Please insert 0 if you do not wish to make a donation.)
The Society for Caribbean Studies is a registered charity. This allows the Society to claim back tax paid by UK taxpayers on donations that are given as Gift Aid. If you are making a donation and are a UK taxpaper, please check the Gift Aid box to indicate that: a) you have paid, or will pay, at least as much UK tax this financial year as the amount the Society will reclaim on your donation (i.e. 28% of the donation) and b) that you want the Society to claim tax back for this donation.
